After a few weeks of complaints and angry fans, Treyarch has fixed the issues in Black Ops 4 Zombies. The new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 update is a massive one and includes changes in all modes. In this post, we’ll go over the patch notes of the Black Ops 4 update for Zombies, which is an area of the game that players wanted to see fix for quite some time.
Everything went wrong last week, when an angry fired Treyarch employee took to Reddit to let fans know that the studio only cared about the game’s stability due to content creators. According to him, this is the main reason they are fixing the Zombies mode.
Whatever the reason behind it though, the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 update is now live. Let’s go over the patch notes for the Zombies mode:

Issue where players with the Sigil of the 4th Circle Talisman active would not have the Perk Modifier outline around the 4th Perk icon if the player did not have all 4 Perks.

Resolved an issue where Electric Burst did not function correctly with the Aftertaste Elixir after the player was revived and had the Perk returned by the Scepter of Ra.

Resolved an issue with delayed power-up spawns when using Extra Credit.

Issue where replacing a Mule Kick-assigned weapon removed the Mule Kick icon from the weapon.

Fixed an issue where the XP value could turn negative when the player doesn’t earn XP in game after achieving Prestige Master.

Fixed an exploit where players could control the spawn and de-spawn of Zombies using the Panic Room to get to high rounds.

Exploit in the Morgue area found in the Laboratories where the player was able to jump onto the rim of multiple windows, allowing the player to avoid taking hits from Zombies.

Moreover, another exploit in the corner of the Lower War Room area where the player was able to jump onto extended collision from a window, eventually causing Zombies to stop attacking the player.

An issue with the teleporter with players hurling outside of the playable area in Groom Lake.

And, an issue where Classified did not appear in the Map selection screen when in a 4-player splitscreen party.

Resolved an issue where Zombies and Hellhounds could de-spawn on the teleporter when pathing to players in the Panic Room.

Issue where Paintjobs were missing from the Personalize menu after trying to select them.

An issue where players could load into a match before the host did, resulting in no player control.

After playing local Zombies game and then switching to an online lobby would result in no default map showing up.

A camo issue where red spikes could protrude from a number of weapons.

Splash art in loading screen where it shows the wrong game mode.

Custom Mutations Round Cap rule now properly ends the game after players complete the number of rounds selected.

These are all the changes for the Zombies mode in the latest Black Ops 4 update. It is now available on all platforms, so you can start again your easter egg hunting. Pretty overwhelming, right?
