CD Projekt Red has released another set of images for Cyberpunk 2077 during Gamescom 2018. The studio first teased incoming news two days ago; yesterday, the Polish company released several in-game screenshots. Today, CD Projekt Red has released several pieces of Cyberpunk 2077 concept art. The artworks all appear to have been informed scenes which appeared in the game’s E3 story trailer.

The Newly-Released Cyberpunk 2077 Concept Art
Thus far, CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 presence at Gamescom has been relatively muted. The studio held another behind-closed-doors gameplay demo screening at the event; as they did at E3. Once again, the audience consisted solely of journalists and industry professionals. It’s possible that they may yet reveal something major. However, while fans were hoping for another trailer, another day has now gone by without one in sight.
Yesterday, CD Projekt Red released a series of in-game screenshots; presumably from the gameplay demo. Today, the studio has released four new pieces of Cyberpunk 2077 concept art. The art was made publicly available on CD Projekt Red’s website.
All four of the new pieces of concept art bear clear resemblances to scenes from the Cyberpunk 2077 E3 story trailer. Presumably, many of the scenes which featured in that montage trailer were based heavily on concept artwork. While the artwork is very high-quality, they unfortunately don’t give fans any new information about the game; they have already appeared in the trailer. Although CD Projekt Red did tease fans with some gameplay screenshots yesterday, it certainly seems as though they are not ready to give out much more.
Although CD Projekt Red ran a blog offering additional lore and information on the game’s trailer, fans still know almost nothing about its main characters and story. In fact, they have yet to see even one glimpse of actual gameplay. Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait too much longer. Unfortunately, however, unless CD Projekt Red still has something up their proverbial sleeve for the end of Gamescom, it seems likely that fans won’t be getting anything more for now.
