The Fallout 76 Lucky Strike daily quest is a relatively simple quest, but one also ideally suited to resource-farming. Players looking to mine ore for crafting in the game should seek to complete this quest as often as possible. Do so, and you’ll quickly start to amass a stockpile of useful resources without needing to scour the wastelands.
How to Complete the Fallout 76 Lucky Strike Daily Quest
Compared to many other Fallout 76 side quests, the Fallout 76 Lucky Strike quest is exceedingly simple. The entire quest consists of only a single objective. However, it isn’t the easiest quest to find. Throughout the game, players will stumble upon many miscellaneous quests, given to them as they approach various sites. Most of these serve the purpose of guiding players to sites where they can find a side quest. Lucky Strike has no such miscellaneous quest, however.
The Lucky Strike quest can be acquired from one of the game’s three types of vending machine. These machines can be found across Appalachia, and come in three varieties; Medical Supplies, Ammunition, and U-Mine-It! The U-Mine-It! vending machines can be used to purchase a map, and doing so will start the Lucky Strike quest. This quest will mark a single point on your map; the location of an ore dig site. The site it chooses is random. All you need to do to complete the quest is go the location and mine the ore.
Completing Lucky Strike will get you some random aid items and ammunition, but more importantly, a good amount of ore. As the locations vary, the journey times and dangers are also highly variable. Nonetheless, most sites aren’t too difficult to get to. When it comes to farming crafting resources, Lucky Strike is very valuable; this way, you won’t need to just search around the map hoping to find a dig site.
