The Fallout 76 Waste Not daily quest can be found in the Savage Divide, at the Red Rocket Mega Stop. Players of the Fallout series will no doubt be familiar with Red Rocket truck stops. Indeed, one such stop was one of the first locations players would find in Fallout 4. The Red Rocket Mega Stop is a much larger stop than most, and this quest involves scavenging from its errant robots.
How to Complete the Fallout 76 Waste Not Daily Quest
To start the Fallout 76 Waste Not daily quest, you simply need to visit the Red Rocket Mega Stop. The first objective will direct you to a marked maintenance terminal. On this machine, which can be found in the Mega Stop’s garage, read the “ALERTS,” topic. This will mark several locations on your map. In each of these areas, you will be able to find a Red Rocket Protectron; a variant model of the standard protectron emblazoned with the Red Rocket logo and colours. Unfortunately, these robots have long since gone out of control. As such, you need to destroy them.
Simply wrecking the Red Rocket Protectrons is hardly fulfilling the name of the quest, however. When you destroy each one, be sure to loot their inventory for a Red Rocket Core. Once you have three of the Red Rocket Cores, you can return to the Red Rocket Mega Stop. Here, you can deposit the cores for the quest to end and your reward to be dispensed.
Rewards for the Fallout 76 Waste Not quest are relatively standard, with a few exceptions for junk. You’ll receive random ammo and aid items, as per usual, but also a random weapon, armour piece, mod, or plan. There is also a chance that you’ll receive a random legendary weapon or armour piece. What you can guarantee, however, is that you will receive both copper and rubber in your reward.
