The text reads, “#1 overall pick @DeandreAyton just got scanned into #NBA2K19 We got his first look and rating. Agree or nah?”
This is interesting news considering that Ayton is a total rookie, and doesn’t have a single NBA game under his belt yet.
The NBA 2K19 ratings for a couple other rookies have also been released. We’ve learned that Dallas Mavericks player Luka Doncic has a rating of 79 as well (which is somewhat unexpected, but reasonable when you think about the great form he is in), and Marvin Bagley III has a rating of 78. While we are still waiting to find out the ratings for Jaren Jackson Jr., Trae Young and other rookies, it is likely most of them will be lower than 79.
As to the rest of the Suns, we are still waiting on the remaining ratings to be revealed. While we can expect Ayton’s rating to be among the highest, it will almost certainly be beaten by Devin Booker’s rating. How will the Suns perform on the real-world court this year? Well, if Ayton lives up to expectations and if Booker’s performance is as strong as it should be, they could be quite a challenging team to contend with.
NBA 2K19 will release on September 11th, so the long wait is finally nearly over. It will be available to play on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC. While you are waiting, make sure to keep up with our news to learn about NBA 2K19 features and more.
