Death Stranding Release Date Leaked And It’s Sooner Than We Expected

Remember back in June when Walmart Canada leaked the releases of several unannounced titles? Back then, it was only a short straw since all of those games appeared after a few days during E3 2018. The only exception was a new Splinter Cell title which we haven’t seen yet. Now, the same website, leaks the Death Stranding release date and sets it to a month that couldn’t be better.

There’s more to this story though, so bear with us. The host of the Game Awards 2018, Geoff Keighley has tweeted about announcements being made during the ceremony. To top that, he shifted his focus on Walmart, to not spill the beans yet. He said:

“Today we start transitioning into #TheGameAwards world premiere land. There are a LOT of games we won’t be talking about at all until the show (All eyes on you @WalmartCanada) but we do have some great things to tease/announce in the week ahead.”

Unfortunately, a fan has sent him a picture of Walmart Canada website. In it, June 20th is the Death Stranding release date. The administrator of the Walmart Canada Twitter page was quick to reply that “this is a pre-order that will ship in June”. We don’t know what this answer means other than this is when the game is releasing. Is it a good troll or something else?

Walmart Canada leaks the Death Stranding release date

For what it is worth, we shall know more about the Death Stranding release date in a week. There might be a new trailer during the Game Awards 2018 or at least some kind of tease about its release.

However, there are many more games that we can’t wait to see during the show. The voting has started already so be sure to go ahead and vote before December 6th when the show starts.
