In the gameplay calendar for Season of Opulence, Bungie actually teased only two exotic quests for this season. But recently, we’ve received yet another exotic quest for a returning weapon – Bad Juju. Now, there are a total of three exotic quests released in this season – Lumina (exotic hand cannon), Truth (exotic rocket launcher from OG Destiny) and now Bad Juju.
Bad Juju – Weapon Perks and Ornaments
As we know, this weapon is re-released in Destiny. So, every perk for this weapon would be the same. The intrinsic perk on this weapon is called String of Curses which states “After each kill, this weapon will reload instantly and increase damage for a short time. Kills will help charge your super.“
Other than that, this perk also fires in full-auto – meaning you don’t need to tap the trigger again and again to fire this weapon. Just hold it once and this weapon will fire.
Bad Juju – Hidden Explosive Perk Found
Recently, on Reddit, this player has found that there is a hidden perk on Bad Juju that creates a high damage explosion on kill. The downside of this perk is that this totally happens randomly and don’t have a pattern at all. According to the Reddit user, the chances for this explosion of occurring is 1 in 100. He also mentioned that this explosion occurred only three times in his run of 500 kills. Take a look of this perk in action:
If you don’t know, Nechrochasm (a Destiny 1 SMG had the same kind of perk that had a very similar explosion on kills – maybe this could be a teaser for the Nechrochasm returning in Shadowkeep).
According to the Reddit user, this explosion did approximately 10,000+ DPS to a nearby Thrall (Sleepless Rocket Launcher does the same amount of damage which is insane).
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on September 17, 2019, and later this year on Stadia. Cross Save is also coming to Destiny 2 (finally).
