At this point, we all know that Cross Save is happening in Destiny 2. Bungie first announced this feature on June 4, 2019, along with the reveal of Shadowkeep – Destiny 2’s upcoming fall expansion. They detailed about how they want to move forward with Destiny franchise as they are now self-publishing the game. After the separation from Activision, things are looking very bright for Bungie and for the Destiny franchise. The Community is finally supporting every decision made by the developers.
Lately, Bungie revealed that Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is being pushed back a little from September 17, 2019, to October 1, 2019. This is because they want to make sure everything is perfect and the product (Shadowkeep) is with no flaws when it’s shipped to the community.
Cross Save Finally Happening
In This Week At Bungie, they finally revealed when Cross Save will actually be going Live in Destiny 2. According to the blog-post, Cross Save will initiate on August 21, 2019, on Wednesday (less than two weeks from now). Here’s what they said about it in TWAB:
“This is a resource for players who know they’ll be playing Destiny 2 in more than one place this Fall. Cross Save will finally let us unify our adventures across many platforms. The launch of Cross Save is planned for August 21. Before that happens, check out the new information we’re serving up about how it will work and what you’ll be able to bring with you. If you’ve been nurturing Guardians on more than one account, you’ll have some choices to make.”
Destiny 2 Players need to sign up here to link their accounts. We don’t know the complete procedure on how you’ll be linking your account yet. Make sure you stay tuned to VGR to find out.
Destiny 2: Shdowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
