Bungie released a brand-new space in Destiny 2 called European Aerial Zone EAZ with Solstice of Heroes. Back in 2018, when Bungie first introduced this event in Destiny 2, there wasn’t any new area added with this event. Instead, Bungie just challenged players to go back to old areas to complete the objectives on each and every Solstice Armor Set.
European Aerial Zone EAZ is a huge space floating in the mid-air somewhere on Earth (in Europe, hence the name). One of the things that differ in this area with others are clouds and the sunset vibes you get when it’s about to get dark. Bungie really outdid themselves with the Sky-boxes in Destiny 2. One of my favorite things to do in Destiny 2 is to just look at the sky when I’m bored and admire its beauty.
Speaking of EAZ, it’s a 3-player match made activity. Meaning, you can find other two players using in-game matchmaking feature if you don’t have anyone to play with. Or, you can go in with your pre-made Fireteam or your Clan members. Once you load into EAZ, there will be several Mini-bosses spawning that you need to eliminate in order to spawn the main final boss and to complete your Renewed Armor set’s objectives.
Location of Chests in EAZ
Once you’ve defeated enough mini-bosses, the final boss will spawn that is fairly easy to kill. After that, you’ll get a timer on the top-left of your screen which says “Spawning in (number)”. After the time is done, several Chests will spawn that’ll grant you Solstice Key Fragments.
Now, these chests can spawn randomly across the map in EAZ. So, this Reddit user has compiled a list of every possible location on the map where these chests can spawn. Take a look below:
If you’re lucky enough to find every chest before the timer runs out, you’ll get an additional two Solstice Key Fragments or a Solstice Package if you’re lucky.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
