Destiny 2: First Look At the Moon’s Map in Shadowkeep

Just a while ago, Xbox tweeted a short interview they had with Shadowkeep’s Game Director Ben Wommack and Community Manager David Dague (also known as DeeJ on Twitter). In that interview, Wommack talked about how Shadowkeep will change the way we play Destiny 2 at this point. They are leaning more towards the RPG element with the game this fall. So, everything you’ll experience in Shadowkeep will have some RPG elements even Finishing Moves.

First-Look at the Moon’s Map in Shadowkeep

During the interview, they released our first look at the brand-new Moon Map on the Director menu in Shadowkeep. There are a total of four new and old locations on the map as far as we can see through this revealed image. Starting with Hellmouth, Sorrow’s Harbor, Archer’s Line, and Anchor of Light are the locations revealed in the video.

Obviously, there are several Lost Sectors on the map as we can see – as well as some Golden Chests for us to loot. On the far left side, we can see a circle-ish pattern logo with a Guided Games option below it. That must be the new Raid “Garden of Salvation.”

Destiny 2 players will be able to play on any platform they want starting this Wednesday, August 21, 2019, once Cross Save goes live on all three platforms (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC). It’s a big deal for a game like Destiny 2. This will allow players to hop on to any platform an play the game without losing their in-game progress, weapon collection or Exotic Armor.

Other than that, Destiny 2 will be moving to its new home – Steam this Tuesday on August 21, 2019, from Battle.net. Right now, players can pre-purchase the Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Standard or Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
