Destiny 2: Forsaken Trailer Shows Off New Exotic Weapons and Armor

We’re still just over a month away from the September 4 launch of Destiny 2’s Forsaken expansion, and now Bungie has made the long wait even harder by releasing an action-packed new trailer that shows off several of the expansion’s new Exotics.

Destiny 2 Forsaken players will have some new toys to play with.

In total, the trailer features seven new Exotic weapons and three new Exotic armor pieces (one for each of Destiny 2’s three Guardian classes). A full list of the Exotics that are featured can be found below, and be sure to check out the trailer to see the new Exotics in action.

  • Two-Tailed Fox: a rocket launcher that fires two rockets simultaneously with each shot, one solar rocket and one void rocket.
  • Malfeasance: Landing five hits with this hand cannon causes those five projectiles to detonate, causing explosive area damage (think Halo’s Needler).
  • Trinity Ghoul: This bow causes your next arrow to chain arc damage across multiple enemies after scoring a precision kill.
  • One Thousand Voices: a Scorn-themed trace rifle that shoots a continuous beam of explosive fire.
  • Wish Ender: another Exotic bow, this one allows you to see enemies through walls and pierce through multiple targets with a single arrow.
  • Black Talon: a sword that can also fire a damaging force-wave projectile.
  • Ace of Spades: Cayde-6’s iconic hand cannon not only sports a fast reload speed, but reloading also ups the damage of all rounds fired from the next clip.
  • Antaeus Wards: these new Exotic Titan boots allow a player to reflect projectiles (such as rockets fired by enemy players in PvP) back at their source by sliding.
  • Sixth Coyote: a new Hunter chest piece that grants a second free use of the Dodge ability before the cooldown is triggered.
  • Chromatic Fire: a Warlock chest piece that allows the player to inflict elemental explosive damage (presumably based on the Warlock’s equipped sub-class) with headshots from their kinetic weapon.
