Destiny 2 Shadokweep brought a lot of new weapons and armor sets to the table (Exotics and legendaries). Every new armor added with Shadowkeep has its own distinct feeling to it. When it comes to Weapons, the most fun exotic weapon you can get in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep is – Deathbringer. This void exotic rocket launcher combines the Fighting Lion detonation feature with Warlock’s Slowa Bomb projectiles.
How to Get Deathbringer in Destiny 2
To get Deathbringer, you need to finish the Shadowkeep main story campaign. Keep in mind that this exotic rocket launcher will drop as a powerful reward and will be 5 power levels higher than your current power level. So, make sure you are 900 before starting this questline.
Step 1
Now that you’ve completed the Shadowkeep’s campaign. Go to Eris Morn, she will have weekly bounties. For Deathbringer, you need the weekly bounty called “Lunar Spelunker.” For this bounty, you will go to Moon’s 3 out of 4 Lost Sectors and complete them to get to the next step that is “Firewall Data Fragment” along with the “Memory of Sai Mota.”
Step 2
To complete the Memory of Sai Mota quest, you need to defeat Nightmares with Arc abilities. Just run Nightmare Hunts until you’re finished with this step.
Step 3
Now, go back to Eris Morn who is not in her usual spot. She is found standing next to a portal. Just interact with her and open the chest beside her. This will give you the actual questline for the exotic rocket launcher “Symphony of Death.”
Step 4
To complete the “Symphony of Death” quest step, you need to go under the surface of the Moon until you reach the Circle of Bones. From there, you can start the Faculties of the Skull quest. Just run through the mission and take the skull back to Eris for her to examine it.
Step 5
After examining the skull, she’ll give you the next step – Marrow’s Elegy. For Ritualistic Bone, you need to complete a Lost Sector in Sorrow’s Harbor which is – K1 Revelation. Just complete the Lost Sector and open the final chest.
For Festering Bone, all you need is to complete a single Public Event in the Hellmouth. And for the final part – Bone Collector’s Marrow, you need to find a Hive enemy named “Bone Collector.” Most of the time, this enemy spawns somewhere in Anchor of Light. But it may spawn in other places as well, so keep an eye out.
Step 6
After that, you need to load in The Scarlett Keep strike on the Moon map (this is the normal strike and not a special version). During the strike, there’s a wizard that spawns named “High Conductor Sulmakta.” Just kill the wizard and you’ll proceed to the next step.
Step 7
For this step, you need to kill all kinds of enemies – Red bar, Orange bar, and Yellow bar. The progress counts the most on the Moon. But doing Escalation Protocol, you can get this done pretty easily.
Step 8
After that, you need to head back to the Circle of Bones on the Moon. Just start the quest, and you’ll go back to the Catacombs where the wizard starts singing her death song. You need to stop that song. In order to do that, you just have to take down her shield. Just complete the mission and return to the Eris Morn to pick up your brand-new Deathbrigner. Here’s a video from Datto if you want a video guide for this exotic quest.
