Talking about Borderlands 3, this game is full of Easter Eggs. Recently, we’ve found out that Gearbox has added a Borderlands version of Destiny‘s Dinklebot that we have to kill in order to acquire a legendary weapon (which is kind of cruel, we love Dinklebot). Now, Gearbox has added yet another Destiny referenced weapon in Borderlands 3 called – Good Juju. In Destiny, Bungie first introduced a three-burst pulse rifle called – Bad Juju.
Good Juju vs. Bad Juju
Let’s talk about Bad Juju first from Destiny 2, It’s a 450 rounds per minute exotic pulse rifle with a magazine size of 27, The flavor text on this weapon is, “If you believe your weapon wants to end all existence, then so it will.” —Toland the Shattered. Below, you can see the perks that come with this exotic weapon:
String of Curses: Kills refill the magazine, increase damage for a short duration, and grant Super energy based on the strength of String of Curses. Fires full-auto.
Hip-Fire Grip: Ergonomic grips that increase accuracy and stability when firing from the hip.
Now, let’s take a look at Borderlands 3’ s Good Juju. It was introduced in the game with Maliwan Takedown update and it’s a pretty good weapon overall. Comparing the two Jujus, Both are pulse/burst rifles. The flavor text on Good Juju states, “Kinda, sorta wants to end all existence,” which is hilarious considering the Bad Juju’s weapon description says the same thing (but in a serious tone). Both weapons have that greenish touch to them. Below, you can see the complete stats for Good Juju:
