Destiny 2: How To Solo Gambit Boss Strategy

Back in Year 1, Destiny 2 didn’t have any random rolls on its weapons. This means that every weapon you acquire for the first time or for the 50th time would be the same in every liking. After a massive amount of feedback regarding random rolls, Bungie finally considered adding random rolls on weapons with Forsaken expansion. On top of that, they also added random rolls on armor pieces as well.

This means every time you get a legendary weapon or an armor set, it’ll have new rolls which can be suitable for PvP activities or PvE activities. There are many builds in Destiny 2, some are for the Crucible and some are good for Raids, Strikes and other PvE activities.

Solo Gambit Boss Kill

Today, we’ll be looking at a build that can help you defeat Gambit bosses solo without any teammates in your Fireteam. To start off, here are all the things you need to pull off this strategy:

Destiny 2 Gambit Boss Kill

Note: This can only be done on the Hunter class.

  • You must have Emperor’s Courtesy (can be acquired from Crown of Sorrows raid) or the Last Man Standing Shotgun (can be acquired from the Reckoning or Gambit) with One-Two Punch perk. This perk is a must. This build won’t work without this perk.
  • On step two, you must have equipped top tree Arcstrider (Way of the Warrior) with Gambler’s Dodge.
  • You need to have Liar’s Handshake Exotic Gauntlets equipped (released in Season of the Drifter).

Now that you have every required thing in place, we can work on the strategy. Follow the steps below if you want to solo Gambit bosses.

Destiny 2 Gambit Boss Kill
  • Get a melee kill.
  • Dodge near another enemy so you can get your melee ability back instantly.
  • You need to do this till you see Combinations Blow x3 on the bottom left of your screen.
  • After you have the Combination Blow x3, just head to the main boss, and Shoot (with your shotgun) and melee the boss two times.
  • That’s all!

This is everything you need to conquer this strategy in Gambit. You can watch Sweatcicle’s video demonstrating this build below:
