Destiny 2: Here’s How To Unlock The Alternate Dialogue In ‘A Mysterious Disturbance’ Mission

Back in Destiny 1, Bungie had released a lot of alternate dialogues which triggered if you have completed a certain quest, mission of completed a specific challenge. That was a really cool detail we had back in the day. Well, it seems Bungie has re-introduced the alternate dialogue in Shadowkeep’s “A Mysterious Disturbance” as well. Shadowkeep has already brought a ton of content to the table. And with that, I don’t personally think we’ll go in a content drought ever again (thank you Bungie for all the hard work)

Destiny 2: Alternate Dialogue in A Mysterious Disturbance

A Mysterious Disturbance

According to the Reddit post made by shadinski, it seems Bungie has added another dialogue that only triggers if you’ve completed a specific activity or mission. In his post, he said that this alternate dialogue is tied with the Invitations of the Nine (released in Season of the Drifter).

“The dialogue is linked to the Invitations of the Nine Xur gives out. You have to finish all 9 of them on a character and then afterward Drifter will have a short conversation prompt about it. You MUST talk to the Drifter to get the dialogue to activate. It’s based per character with that particular prompt, not across your whole account with the Triumph for the Invitations”

If we compare the normal and the alternate dialogue, the normal one says, “What… is that? I’ve never seen anything like it.” As for the alternate dialogue, our Ghost says, “That’s… one of those Pyramids. It can’t be. That should not be here. Eris must have gone inside.

Now, to trigger this dialogue, you need to complete all of the Invitations of the Nine that you can get from Xur every week. What are your thoughts about this? Let us know in the comments!

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, released on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
