A new update for Destiny 2 dropped this week, bringing new patch notes to check out and new bounties to take on. In addition, one of the new additions to the game with this patch is an entirely new exotic weapon. That weapon is the Destiny 2 Le Monarque bow. With it added to the game, players can now receive this exotic Void bow right now.
Of course, getting the Destiny 2 Le Monarque bow is an entirely different story. For one, the game doesn’t explain to you how you go about getting the new weapon. In addition, this special bow is actually earned in a rather unique way compared to other weapons. Thankfully, that’s where we come in with the solution to finding the weapon.
How to Get Destiny 2 Le Monarque
There are only two ways that we know of currently for finding this special exotic bow. Both of them have to do with two of the forges introduced with the release of Black Forge. One of those forges is actually brand new, too. The two forges that you will need to take on are the Gofannon and Izanami forges.
Either one of those forges will work for getting the Destiny 2 Le Monarque. Unfortunately, though, you aren’t guaranteed of getting the bow ever. It is entirely a random drop that you can get from either forge. As such, it can take numerous attempts at each forge in order to receive the special Void bow. However, we do recommend one forge over the other.
We recommend that you complete the Gofannon forge rather than the Izanami one. Though Izanami is newer, it is much longer and requires a higher light level to actually do it. Gofannon is easier and allows for less frustrating attempts over and over as you try to get the bow.
