Shadowkeep is the next big thing coming in Destiny 2 this fall. Recently, at PAX West, there were a lot of leaks regarding the new Exotic Armor and Exotic weapons coming in Shadowkeep. There were a total of four new exotic weapons leaked and one new Warlock exotic chest armor leaked. Speaking of which, Warlocks in Destiny 2 will be getting a significant change to their Rally Barricade and Lunafaction Boots mechanics and how they work in-game (PvP and PvE).
Lunafaction Boots and Rally Barricade Changes Coming This Fall
Starting off with Shadowkeep, Lunafaction Boots and Rally Barricades will no longer auto-reload your equipped weapons instead they will increase the reload speed of that weapon. A PAX West attendee confirmed this change on twitter that it’s definitely coming in Shadowkeep.
Well, to be fair, Rally Barricades with Lunafaction Boots were a bit too advantageous. All you need is a Warlock with Well of Radiance and Luna Boots and you can DPS any boss without even moving around. This minimizes the core mechanics of the game and makes it less challenging.
Now that we know about this change, let’s figure out which weapon would be the best to use when DPS the boss inside a Raid or a Strike. Our first choice is Izanagi’s Burden (an Exotic Sniper Rifle) with its Catalyst. With this weapon fully masterworked, it will do 20% more DPS with its Honed Edge x4 perk active. So, this might be the best choice we’ll have in Shadowkeep. But who knows, maybe there will be more useful weapons this fall.
Community Challenge Mars is now Live in Destiny 2. Players have been slaying Xol, and Nokris, again and again, to complete this challenge this week. If you don’t know, you need to defeat Nokris 150k times in this week’s Nightfall and Xol, 100k times. How many times have you completed the Nightfalls? Let us know in comments.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
