Since the release of Destiny 2 in 2017, Eververse has been a large part of Destiny 2’s cosmetics. There are some cosmetics that can be purchased via Silver (a paid in-game currency) and some via Bright Dust. Cosmetics that are only available for Silver are often Exotic Weapon Ornaments or sometimes Exotic Emotes.
On June 4, 2019, Bungie revealed Destiny 2’s upcoming comet expansion that is – Shadowkeep. They are also making some prominent changes to the Eververse economy and store design. In Season of Opulence, we got to see the brand-new look for the Eververse Store with the updated UI (which looks pretty clean now).
Last month, Bungie alerted players to dismantle every Eververse item they own to farm some Bright Dust as they will be scraping into Legendary Shards and Glimmer once Shadowkeep drops. So, make sure you dismantle every Eververse Cosmetic whether it’s an Armor piece, Exotic Ship, Exotic Sparrow, or Shaders. You’ll be able to get them back from your Collections with Legendary Shards and Glimmer this fall with Shadowkeep.
Easy Bright Dust Farm
As you know, there are currently not enough ways to farm Bright Dust except doing Eververse Bounties or dismantling Eververse items. Apparently, this Reddit user has found the best way you can farm Bright Dust for next Season but it comes with a cost.
This method requires you to complete Eververse Bounties again and again as long as you are not out Eververse Bounty Notes. Follow the steps given below to farm Bright Dust:
- Head over to Tess Everis in the Tower
- Pick up “Stirring up the Hive” Bounty (requires 3 Eververse Bounty Notes)
- Complete it by loading into the Crown of Sorrows Raid and defeating Hive Knights
- Make sure you redeem this bounty before landing in the Tower.
- Rinse and Repeat.
So, if you have 420 Bounty Notes, you can farm 9,800 Bright Dust just by doing these bounties. Bungie also confirmed that players will be able to farm Bright Dust through Gameplay Activities in Shadowkeep.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
