Destiny 2: New Changes Coming To Iron Banner This Week

Earlier this week, Bungie released the first Iron Banner for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep and Season of the Undying. This season, Bungie has added a new Seasonal Armor for each class (Hunter, Warlock, and Titan) along with some new (and old) weapons. Keep in mind that the new Iron Banner armor is Armor 2.0 compatible and you can apply different mods on these armor pieces.

Destiny 2: Iron Banner Changing Today

Destiny 2 Iron Banner Quest Steps

If you’ve played Iron Banner this week, you might’ve gotten into the new maps very often. That’s because Bungie has tweaked the playlist to showcase the new Iron Banner maps for the new and old players in Destiny 2. But starting later today, all the things will revert back to normal and players will find other maps in the match as well. Here’s what Bungie said in their tweet:

“Iron Banner’s first two days have been an intentional showcase of the newest Crucible maps in Destiny 2. Starting on Thursday, the rest of the week will feature a varying mix of both new and classic maps.”

The new armor sets for this Season’s Iron Banner are very good. Most of the community is grinding the new questline to grind new weapons and this armor sets too. If you haven’t started your grind, I would suggest you get going right now if you want to finish it by the end of this week’s reset.

But, no worries. If you don’t want to complete the quest this week, you can start it the next time Iron Banner comes around this season (probably next month). This weekly reset has brought a hotfix in Destiny 2 as well which fixed and tuned a lot of annoying bugs and glitches in the game. One of these bugs was the matchmaking patrol population which is now tweaked, so you’ll find more players on the Moon with you very often.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, released on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
