With the release of Shadowkeep, Bungie has added a new mode called Nightmare Hunts in Destiny 2. In this mode, players get to slay old bosses from Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 – Crota, Omnigul, Phogoth, Ghaul, Fanatic, Skolas, and Taniks. You’ll be able to get different rewards (weapons and armor pieces) from different Nightmare Hunts. There are a total of 8 Nightmare Hunts in Destiny 2. Below, you can see a list of Nightmare Hunts, rewards, and their bosses.
Nightmare Hunts in Destiny 2 – Complete Guide
- Nightmare Hunt: Insanity
In this Nightmare Hunt, players will proceed to face The Fanatic. This enemy was introduced last year with Destiny 2 Forsaken. He’s the leader of the Barons. By completing this Nightmare Hunt, players will get Love and Death (Legendary Grenade Launcher).
- Nightmare Hunt: Rage
This Nightmare Hunt will feature Dominus Ghaul as its main protagonist. Every player who completes this will be able to earn One Small Step (Legendary Shotgun). Keep in mind, you can earn a complete set of Dreambane armor set from these Nightmare Hunts.
- Nightmare Hunt: Servitude
Players will face a Vex enemy who looks a lot of Atheon from Destiny 1’s Vault of Glass Raid – Zydron. From this NH, Destiny 2 players can get Dream Breaker (Legendary Fusion Rifle).
- Nightmare Hunt: Pride
Nightmare of Skolas, Kell of Kells is back in Destiny 2. In NH Pride, players will face Skolas and by defeating him, they’ll get the Helmet for Dreambane Armor set.
- Nightmare Hunt: Isolation
NH Isolation revolves around – Taniks. Another enemy from Destiny 1 which now, is back in Destiny 2 as Nightmare from our past. NH Isolation can drop Gauntlets for the Dreambane Armor Set.
- Nightmare Hunt: Fear
This NH has Phogoth as its final boss. By defeating and completing this Nightmare Hunt, players can get the Chest Piece for the Dreambane Armor set.
- Nightmare Hunt: Anguish
If you’re a veteran Destiny 1 player, you must’ve heard about the Infamous Omnigul (and her soul-taking scream). Well, she’s back. In NH Anguish, you’ll face the Omnigul once again and she can drop the Leg Armor for the Dreambane Armor Set.
- Nightmare Hunt: Despair
The final Nightmare Hunt has one of the top enemies of Destiny universe – Crota, Son of Oryx. This NH can drop the final Class Item for the Dreambane Armor set.
