Earlier this month, on August 8, 2019, Bungie released their weekly blog-post – This Week At Bungie. In that post, they mentioned that Cross Save and PC Move will be going live on August 20th and 21st of this month (which are live). Along with that, they also said that there will be a PvP Reveal for Destiny 2 later this month before PAX 2019. Now, we know that PAX 2019 is starting on Fri, Aug 30, 2019, until Mon, Sep 2, 2019. Here’s what Bungie said in their blog-post earlier this month.
- ‘Director’s Cut’ with Luke Smith
- Armor Customization Preview livestream
- More Shadowkeep details at gamescom
- Cross Save launch
- How Seasons will change in D2Y3
- PVP reveal for Shadowkeep
- An invitation to the Crucible at PAX
No PvP Reveal This Week For Destiny 2
But today, Community Manager (Bungie) dmg04 on Twitter tweeted that there won’t be a PvP reveal for Destiny 2 Shadowkeep this week. He said that they’ve covered a lot of Crucible stuff in Director’s Cut Part 3 (which they did). Here’s what he said on Twitter:
“When’s the PvP Reveal as promised in a previous TWAB?” We covered a lot of Crucible changes in the Director’s Cut Pt III. There are a few exacts that we’ll be sharing with you closer to launch (which maps will be going on hiatus, glory changes, etc) – but that’s not this week.”
If you don’t know, 3v3 Elimination is returning to Destiny 2 with Shadowkeep this fall. At first, it will be included in the Crucible Labs playlist for testing and later will be added in the daily/weekly Crucible playlists. I, personally, cannot wait for this as it was probably the most sweaty and challenging PvP mode in Destiny 1. What do you think about this? Let us know in comments!
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
