It’s without a doubt that Destiny 1 featured one of the best PvP maps in the game until this point. We’ve had Twilight Gap, Widow’s Court, Asylum, Burnout, Exodus Blue, First Light, and Rusted Lands. Bungie has already added most of these maps in Destiny 2. With Season of the Undying, we’ve got Widow’s Court and Twilight Gap back in Destiny 2. Now, as we know, Season of the Undying is getting wrapped up and Season of Dawn is starting on next weekly reset, Bungie is adding yet another map from Destiny 1 – Rusted Lands.
Destiny 2: Rusted Lands Returns
Yesterday was a big day for Destiny 2. We’ve finally got a brand-new trailer for Season of Dawn that showed off the first look at the Legendary Titan – Saint-14 in action. Bungie also showcased the new seasonal activity for Season of Dawn called – The Sundial. It’s a 6-player matchmade activity where you’ll be fighting the Cabal.
Keep in mind that this map will be available in 3v3 Elimination mode at first as mentioned in the trailer. We don’t have an exact date when this map will be added to other PvP modes as of now. Apart from that, we’ve also got our first look at the new scout rifle that looked and felt just amazing. This scout rifles felt like Randy’s Throwing Knife (ritual weapon in Season of the Undying) in terms of recoil and fire rate. We’re less than a week away from Season of Dawn.
Later today, Bungie will be revealing more about this upcoming season in their reveal stream. Make sure to stay tuned to VGR for live coverage. What are your expectations for this upcoming season? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
