The Season of Dawn is just a couple of days away. Yesterday, Bungie revealed the Season of Dawn activities and what to expect with the upcoming season in Destiny 2. And we have to say it, the stream was a little bit underwhelming. But considering that this season and the next is only $10, the amount of content we are getting is still a lot. We are getting new Obelisks, new Mods, new exotic quests, storyline and on top of all, a brand-new seasonal activity called – The Sundial. Players will also get a new seasonal artifact called – The Lantern of Osiris.
Destiny 2: Seasonal Artifact in Season of Dawn
During the reveal stream, Bungie showed us a couple of mods that we’ll be getting this next season. They didn’t reveal every single mod but the ones revealed can be found below:
- Anti-Barrier Ranger: Grants weapon shield-piercing, bypassing combatant defenses. Strong against Barrier Champions. (Only usable on Bows, Scout Rifles, and Pulse Rifles.)
- Unstoppable Shot: Aiming down sights loads a powerful explosive payload that staggers unshielded enemies. Strong against Unstoppable Champions. (Scout Rifle Mod)
- Unstoppable Burst: Aiming down sights loads a high-impact burst that staggers unshielded enemy combatants. Strong against Unstoppable Champions. (Pulse Rifle Mod)
- Guardian Angel: Grants a chance to generate healing orbs for you on Scout Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Bow, and Linear Fusion Rifle precision final blows. (Class Item Mod)
Along with that, they also showed off a complete content roadmap for Season of Dawn. Check out our article here for the complete coverage and breakdown. Destiny 2 players will also be getting an old PvP map called Rusted Lands in Destiny 2 with Season of Dawn. What are your thoughts on the mods, armor sets, and the new seasonal activity?
