Update: Sorry folks but this have been confirmed fake by a Reddit user and was edited on purpose.
When Destiny 2 was first released back in 2017, Bungie teased us with the new Oryx-level threat that is his sister – Savathûn, The Witch-Queen in the Destiny universe. And since then, Bungie has been releasing more and more content revolving this infamous Savathûn that is just getting us all hyped. The most recent major content that we’ve got for Savathûn was the first dungeon in Destiny 2 – The Shattered Throne, where we defeat the daughter of Savathûn – Dul Incaru.
Destiny 2: Savathûn’s Voice Actor Revealed?
If you don’t know there are is an IMDb page for most of the major games out there and Destiny is one of them. If we take a look at the cast and crew page of the game, we can see every Voice Actor with their in-game character. Like for Zavala, we have Lance Reddick, for our Ghost, we have Nolan North, and for our beloved Cayde-6 (rest in peace) we have Nathan Fillion.
The interesting thing is if we scroll down on that page, we can see the Voice Actor for Eris Morn who is played by Morla Gorrondona. In the description, it says, “Savathûn / Eris Morn- Shadowkeep DLC (voice).” There we have it folks, our first clue that Eris is possessed.
We’ve already seen Eris Morn in the recent cutscene messing with the Darkness and got somewhat possessed(?) Though, keep in mind, that IMDb kind of works like Wikipedia, you can submit the changes and then it has to get approved after verification. So, this could be a doing of a random player and not officially true. So, take everything here with a grain of salt.
If we look at it that way, Eris Morn has gotten the Darkness powers, IMDb hints at her being Savathûn, we can really see where this is going. But, if Savathûn is a completely different character and is being voiced by the same Voice Actor as Eris Morn to save some money, that would be a bummer.
What do you about it? Do you think that Eris Morn is the main evil protagonist all along? Let us know in the comments!
