Overall, Destiny 2’s new Warmind DLC has been touted as a well-constructed expansion that’s full of new gameplay features and hidden secrets. However, the expansion also brought with it a somewhat annoying bug that, despite a hotfix which Bungie deployed yesterday, is affecting both Heroic Strikes and Clan Engrams.
Shortly after Warmind launched last week, players discovered a bug that was causing Heroic Strike completions to not count towards quest progress or the weekly milestone that involves finishing three Heroic Strikes. Yesterday, Bungie deployed a hotfix that was supposed to fix a minutia of Warmind-related issues, the Heroic Strike bug included, but even after the hotfix was deployed, players continued to report that they were receiving no quest/milestone credit for Strike completions. Some players have theorized that the bug is triggered when a member of a Strike’s fireteam has a Vanguard Boon active, but there is currently no hard proof to back up that theory.

Another issue that has been plaguing Destiny 2 since Warmind launched has to do with the Clan Engrams players can earn by completing the Clan XP milestone. Normally, the Clan Engrams earned through the milestone are supposed to be on the same power range as the ‘Powerful Gear’ engrams earned from milestones like Nightfall and Flashpoint completions, but players have reported receiving lower-power rewards when completing this week’s Clan XP milestone.
Fortunately, Bungie has confirmed that players who wait until next Tuesday’s weekly reset will receive appropriately-powered Clan Engram rewards when the milestone auto-completes (of course that’s little comfort for those who already turned in the milestone for this week).

A timetable for when the Heroic Strikes issue might be sorted hasn’t been outlined as of yet, but hopefully it will be resolved by the time next week’s weekly reset rolls around. In the meantime, it looks like more dedicated Destiny 2 players will have to wait just a little bit longer to take full advantage of the game’s weekly milestones.
