As Apex Legends turns one year old, Respawn have announced that they will be revealing the first details of Season 4 in a developer livestream tomorrow. Specifically, the devstream is due to start at 10:00 AM PST on the 23rd of January. It will be the first glimpse that players get at Season 4, just days before the start of the Apex Legends Global Series.
Details are on the Way for Apex Legends Season 4
At present, Apex Legends is in the midst of the Grand Soiree event, with just a handful more game modes coming in the next few days. With details for Apex Legends Season 4 about to be revealed, it does now look increasingly likely that the Soiree will be the final event of Season 3. Indeed, the current season may come to its end very quickly after the Grand Soiree itself. At present, and as per usual, Respawn have been very quiet about what Season 4 might be bringing.
It’s worth noting, however, that the Apex Legends Global Series is due to start in just a few days. Indeed, registrations for the Global Series are now open as of today, after a short delay, ahead of the first online tournament which will be taking place this weekend. The first official tournament dates start on the 25th of January and continue on the 27th.

It’s currently unknown whether the format of the Grand Soiree, the game’s first ‘Arcade Event,’ is likely to influence future events and content in Season 4. Given that the event has featured a rapid-fire series of new game modes, with seven each available for just two days at a time, it does seem likely that one or more could return for a longer period at a later date. Indeed, it does seem as though Respawn may be using the Arcade Event to test things and gauge the community’s reaction to new modes.
