Detroit: Become Human, the latest game from Quantic Dream which launched back in May of 2018, is finally on the verge of coming to PC. The game was originally a PS4 exclusive, but was announced as coming to the Epic Games Store earlier this year. The Detroit: Become Human PC version launches tomorrow, and will also feature a free demo for the entire first chapter of the game.
The Detroit: Become Human PC Demo
Since its launch on PS4 last year, Detroit: Become Human has been extremely successful. Certainly, it has been Quantic Dream’s most successful title; its sales outpaced those of Heavy Rain by over 20%, for example. The game even won “Excellence in Narrative” at the SXSW Gaming Awards last year, despite fierce competition from God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Nine months ago, Quantic Dream announced that Detroit: Become Human, Heavy Rain, and Beyond Two Souls would all be coming to PC as exclusives for the Epic Games Store. Detroit is launching on PC tomorrow, the 12th of December, but if you want to try it out before purchasing the full game, you’re in luck; a free Detroit: Become Human demo will also be available on the Epic Games Store. This demo includes “The Hostage”; the game’s entire first chapter. If you’re thinking of picking up the PC version, these are the minimum and recommended PC specs released by Quantic Dream.
