With the recent launch of the Operation Underground map, DICE has announced a new Battlefield 5 GeForce video contest. Similar to previous contests of this nature, they’re looking for fans to submit short videos showcasing the best gameplay from the new map. Plus, if you needed extra incentive to enter, the studio is offering five top-of-the-line NVIDIA RTX GPUs as prizes!
The Battlefield 5 GeForce Video Contest for Operation Underground
The Battlefield 5 GeForce video contest is open now and will close at 11:59:00 PM on the 13th of October. Judging will then begin the next day and end on the 17th. The five contest winners will then be announced by DICE on the 18th. All you need to do to enter is make a 1-2 minute YouTube video, which can be any sort of video, including montages. However, the video does need to fit the studio’s general theme of; “Best #OnlyinBattlefieldV Operation Underground video”.
There are a few contest rules to abide by, of course. You can’t include any watermarks on the video, for example, or any 3rd party or copyrighted music. If you do want to use music, the Battlefield 5 SoundCloud contains the game’s official soundtrack, and that is permissible to use. The video also needs to be 1080p. You can only submit one video, although anybody who has won a Battlefield 5 contest of this nature before are ineligible from winning. The full contest rules are available to read here.
The five lucky winners will each get an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 TI Founder’s Edition GPU; one of the most powerful (and most expensive) NVIDIA GPUs currently available. Ordinarily, these cards would cost well over a thousand dollars! Certainly, not a prize to be sniffed at. If you want to enter, then once your video is ready, you can submit it via YouTube link here.
