Fortnite Battle Royale players are currently in week 7 of season 5. The fifth season, which was started on July 12, is slowly coming to its end, and it seems that Epic Games is once again preparing big things for Fortnite players. Players have already seen a few in-game events, but it turns out that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Even before the seventh week of the season began, the game developer released a huge map change. Tomato Town received a big modification and was renamed to Tomato Temple. Then there were lightning strikes and the mysterious cube, and the latest mystery is an odd event that happened in Salty Springs.
Just like Tomato Town, Salty Springs is one of the original areas on the map. It has received little to no changes over the course of the game, and many players believe that it will finally be destroyed this season. There are many reasons for this, and the latest mysterious event almost confirmed the destruction of this place.

As you can see in the video above, there was a strange noise in the area. It sounded like a dinosaur roaring, and it pushed the player away, which is similar to how the mysterious cube works.
Earlier in the season, Fortnite Battle Royale players noticed that stoneheads were facing Salty Springs, and it turns out that this was not just a coincidence. Additionally, data miners have recovered some interesting files from game data as these files have “dinosaur” and “tyrannosaurus” in their names.
Back in season 4, there was a leak that one of the locations in season 5 could be called Jurrasic Jungle. This area was supposed to replace Lonely Lodge, but it won’t be surprising if it replaces Salty Springs before the ongoing season ends. Besides, it looks that the cube is moving in this direction too, so it might destroy the area.
