The iconic BFG 9000 Doom weapon will make its appearance in the new Doom Reboot movie. Apart from this confirmation, a new video was posted by the Doom Movie’s official Twitter account confirming Amy Manson’s lead character in the movie.
Fans of Doom will definitely know Doom’s BFG 9000 weapon. It appeared in the first Doom video games before getting some additional changes in Doom 3 and Doom 2016 that made it even better than before. BFG 9000 is a massively powerful plasma energy weapon. It is the most powerful weapon of the game, capable of causing damage for more than 1700 hit points.
It was recently confirmed that BFG 9000 gun will appear in the new Doom movie Reboot that is currently in production. Actor’s Akie Kotabe audition tape confirmed BFG 9000’s appearance in the film along with some other plot hints for the movie. He seems to be referring to it while looking at it on some kind of a screen but we cannot be sure. Hopefully, we will get to see this amazing weapon in action in the Doom Reboot movie.
A recent tweet from the official Doom Movie Twitter account confirmed Amy Manson’s lead role in the upcoming film. In the video, we see Manson along with actor Luke Allen-Gale introducing their character names from the movie. Manson will portray a certain Bennett Stone while Allen-Gale will portray Joan Dark.

It is known that the lead character of the movie will be a woman instead of the popular Doomguy, the silent protagonist of the Doom video game. However, director Tony Giglio recently teased that Doomguy might appear in the movie after all.
We do not know anything regarding the plot of the movie. However, it is rumored that it will not be like the previous Doom movie adaptation that disappointed the fans of the game. It was also announced that the movie will be released straight to DVD in 2019, not making an appearance in the theaters.
