The Dragon Age 4 release date is a question that all BioWare fans have been wondering for quite some time. Ever since Dragon Age Inquisition’s DLC Trespasser released, fans of the medieval fantasy game have been crying out for any new information about Dragon Age 4. And as much as we love all the comics and fiction, ahem, we mean fanfiction, that has been given to us by the BioWare team, we’d kill for at least a release date so we can pull a sick- book some time off work.
Well according to IGN Greece, the wait may not be too long at all. Though, fair warning, as we do not speak Greek our translation skills may be very rusty.
Regardless, IGN Greece was approached by an ‘anonymous’ BioWare employee who spoke about their work, stating that they had just launched a ‘voiceover’ for an upcoming title of the company. Their source told them more about their work without mentioning the name of the title, though confirmed that it was most certainly not Anthem but an old franchise of the company that played into a more ‘old’ (medieval) setting.
While we don’t mind some wild speculation, we have a feeling that Mass Effect was not what the BioWare employee was hinting at. And while there is a slight inkling of a chance it may have something to do with Jade Empire, it wouldn’t make much sense considering BioWare has already stated they are putting Dragon Age and Mass Effect first.
Of course, this could be an elaborate rumor that holds no substance, especially as there isn’t anything indicating that Dragon Age 4 will be released in 2020. However, for Dragon Age fans sakes, we do hope there is at least some truth to the rumor. After all, they can’t just survive on comics and books.
