Rejoice, fighting game fans, as the Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC 2 release date has been announced for very, very soon. For those that don’t know, this second wave of DLC characters is from the latest anime, showcasing Dragon Ball Super’s Merged Zamasu and Super Saiyan Blue Vegito. Players that own the popular 2.5D fighting game will be happy to know that these two super-powered fighters will be joining the fray.
While we won’t outright spoil the anime regarding these characters, know that both Merged Zamasu and Super Saiyan Blue Vegito share quite a few commonalities in terms of themes and such. Both are also equally powerful characters in the show so we do suspect both of them to be the hottest fighters around when we arrive at the Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC 2 release date.
Speaking of the Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC 2 release date, both Merged Zamasu and Vegito are arriving very soon on Thursday, May 31st, 2018. The two characters join the fight just a couple of months after the first wave of DLC characters brought us two Legendary Saiyans, Bardock, the Father of Goku, and Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan. As with those first two DLC fighters, Merged Zamasu and Super Saiyan Blue Vegito will follow a similar pricing model.
Merged Zamasu and Super Saiyan Blue Vegito will both cost $4.99 USD each (around $10 for both) when they arrive late next week on the Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC 2 release date of May 31st. However, purchasing them individually isn’t the only way to collect these new fighters as having the FighterZ Season Pass that costs $34.99 comes with both Zamasu and Vegito and also the previously mentioned fighters.
The FighterZ Season Pass is guaranteed to come with no less than eight additional characters, with the Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC 2 release date bringing the total of additional fighters to four thus far. This means that we still have at least two more DLC waves for the game.
