Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC has been nothing short of phenomenal, including some of the absolute best fighters into the roster to not only shake up the meta, but to involve fans favorites too. This time Bandai Namco’s three-team fighting game will be including the characters of base Goku and base Vegeta to the roster, though we’re unsure why the two in their natural states wasn’t included in the first place.
Regardless, we’re certain fans of the franchise will finally be able to play their favorites in their original forms. That said, it isn’t as though Goku and Vegeta are lacking in form, as we’ve had many different fusions and upgrades of them on the roster. But while there may be some fans who aren’t too pleased at the thought of Goku and Vegeta getting another place in the roster, it is important to know that they won’t have the same moves as their other forms. Thanks to Ryokutya2089, via Game Revolution, we finally know more about these moves.
Do you remember Goku’s legendary Kaioken? Base Goku will be able to use that move, making him grow stronger and able to pile out a number of punishing attacks after that’ll make any enemy with sense turn tail and run. What’s more, Goku’s Kaioken will increase substantially if one of his two allies are down, though that power will increase times 20 if both allies are defeated. Base Goku will also be able to use the Super Spirit Bomb, a move that is directly powered by the energy of living beings and is ridiculously powerful.
On the other hand, Base Vegeta will have his signature Galick Gun as well as his Galaxy Breaker attack. This attack sends out an explosion of energy from around his body, causing devastation to those who dare to oppose him.
Are you excited for the new Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC? We certainly are.
