Dragon Ball Project Z Action RPG Gets First Trailer

Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 are amazing games that helped the franchise reach new heights. However, two more games are coming to also fulfill that purpose. One of the two was the recently revealed Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission. However, the second game was an action RPG title known as Dragon Ball Project Z.

Dragon Ball Project Z has been teased all throughout January. In fact, we covered the announcement that happened in the middle of the month. However, right now, Bandai Namco has showcased an actual video trailer with the story we’ll see in the game.

Dragon Ball Project Z Story Video Trailer

Dragon Ball Project Z is going to make its debut on PS4, Xbox One, and PC

The video trailer talks about the story of Goku once again. However, this time there’s no Time Patrol warriors or Androids created by Dr. Gero. In fact, this game is a retelling of the events of Dragon Ball Z in its purest form. The game will take place across the ending of Dragon Ball, The Saiyan Saga, and the Frieza Saga.

As such, we’ll see Goku facing against enemies like Piccolo, Nappa, Vegeta, and the Ginyu Force. However, the game could also go beyond the Frieza saga and explore the Cell and Majin Buu sagas. Unfortunately, the trailer hasn’t confirmed or denied any of these speculations made by fans.

On the other hand, the biggest announcement comes in the form of the game’s release date. While there hasn’t been a concrete release date or window announced; Dragon Ball Project Z is expected to release at some point during 2019. This title will also make its debut on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
