You really do have to hand it to Bandai Namco. Even with Dragon Ball FighterZ stealing the hearts and minds of every Dragon Ball fan, they still make sure to support Xenoverse 2. Some may call that ridiculous, after all, Dragon Ball FighterZ is way more popular. And hell, it even got imported on the Switch a few weeks ago. So, why is Bandai Namco going out of their way to support Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2?
Well, apart from Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 being a damn good game, there still is a lot to give. New characters and goodies are often added, giving fans who have stuck with the game some really great things. But why stop there? You can already design and create your own character, so why not go that one step further?
What is that one step further, I hear you ask. Well…
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Raid Mode: What is it?
Thanks to this report from Nintendo Everything, the newest issue of V-Jump has revealed something rather special. Just when you thought Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 couldn’t get any better, Bandai Namco has implemented a new feature to prove us wrong.
According to V-Jump, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be getting a new mode called ‘My Raid Mode’. There haven’t been too many details about what this mode will exactly contain, but we have to admit that what we do know sounds exciting.
- The player will be put in the role of a supervillain.
- They’ll be able to use a new item called ‘Crystal of the Dark Demon Realm’.
- Five other players will go up against you-you’ll need to do everything to survive the round.
V-Jump also mentioned that there would be a character limit to this mode, but we don’t have the full details of who that will be so far. Keep yourself fixed to VGR for more details.
