Tomorrow, on the 18th of December, Infinity Ward will be releasing the next major installment of content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season One. That means new Spec Ops missions, 2 new Gunfight maps, and new limited-time game modes. Most notably, it also means the arrival of the Modern Warfare Shipment map; a redesign of one of the Call of Duty series’ most well-known classic maps.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Shipment Map and More
So far, Modern Warfare Season One has already brought a host of new content to the game. Players have gotten two new weapons, the new Infected and Gunfight O.S.P. game modes, and several new maps. However, there is a lot more to come, and the next installment arrives tomorrow.
Firstly, another new game mode called Cranked will become available to play, while the Allegiance will be getting a new Operator; Nikto, along with an associated Operator Bundle featuring cosmetics, finishing moves, emblems, and more. (The Bundle will be available for 2400 COD Points.) Not all the new Store content has to be paid for, however. There is a free gift pack coming too, which will be available in the “Just For You” Store section from 10:00 AM PST on the 18th. Additional paid bundles will be arriving in the Store throughout December.
Of course, the biggest new addition coming tomorrow is Shipment, the classic Modern Warfare map, which will be available for both Gunfight and standard 6v6 multiplayer modes. However, Shipment isn’t the only classic map on the way. Tomorrow’s content pack also includes a modern redesign of Vacant; another Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare classic map which will also be available for 6v6 game modes. Finally, there is a third map coming to Gunfight called Over Winter, which is actually a wintry re-skin of the existing Docks map.
