Cross-Gen Release Details for Dying Light 2
Pawel Rohleder, Chief Technology Officer at Techland, was talking with WCCFTech. As he stated during the conversation, “the plan since the beginning of production has been to make Dying Light 2 a cross-generation title” as Techland “always has an eye on the latest new toys!”
What will the release dates be for the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett versions of Dying Light 2? We still don’t know the answer to that question. In fact, we still do not even know when the PS5 will be available. But we do know that a holiday 2020 release window is slated for Project Scarlett.
So being as that is the case, it would not be surprising if Dying Light 2 releases for next gen consoles (or at least Scarlett) around that time. But we will just have to keep waiting for updates on the exact release date for the game and for Project Scarlett as well as an official release window (or release date) for PlayStation 5.
