Dying Light: Bad Blood Battle Royale Early Access Release Month Revealed at Gamescom 2018
At Gamescom 2018 this week, developer Techland revealed the Dying Light: Bad Blood Battle Royale early access release month for PC. Fans of the original parkour-centric zombie survival game can look forward to this upcoming spin-off title sometime next month on Steam. You won’t have to wait too long though, as a Global Playtest will be happening very soon.
Dying Light: Bad Blood is a “brutal royale” in which 12 players go into a zone in order to see who will be the final one to leave and win. This version of the Battle Royale is unique in that it utilizes the same first-person combat and parkour systems that players will remember from the original Dying Light zombie survival game.
In addition, it blends a mix of traditional PvP elements found in other Battle Royale games with PvE features. Other players aren’t the only foe you have to worry about, as swarms of zombies are throughout the zone. You are encouraged to take them and their hives out so that you can level up and overtake your 11 opponents.
Dying Light: Bad Blood is a unique take on the Battle Royale genre, and fans can check it out ahead of its early access release sometime next month. If you are on the fence about the game, a free Global Playtest will begin later this week. You can sign up here for a chance to get in when the first test begins August 25 at 9:00 am PT and runs through August 26 at 9:00 pm PT.
Only a limited number of players will be let into that playtest but, worry not, everyone who signs up will get a chance to check the game out during the second test which takes place from September 1 at 9:00 am PT to September 2 at 9:00 pm PT. Sign up now as the registration closes on August 22 at 1:00 pm PT. Dying Light: Bad Blood will be sold on Steam through the Founder’s Pack for $19.99.
