New Madden 21 Trailer presents The Spokesplayer representing the players

In the new Madden 21 trailer, we see an opening shot where The Spokesplayer is relaxing outside of a nice home underneath a shaded area. Viewers hear someone speaking with Madden cover star Lamar Jackson, who says he doesn’t have time for all the talking. That’s where The Spokesplayer seems to come in, a hype man to verbally highlight the new era of NFL stars.

In addition to Lamar Jackson, Cam Newton’s voice also comes through. There are real-world NFL highlights shown, talking up LJ8 as a young MVP and former cover star Patrick Mahomes as a young Super Bowl champ. We also see highlights of 99 Club members like Aaron Donald and Christian McCaffrey.

The Spokesplayer puts on a Ratings Adjustor shirt at one point as he continues to boast about the new generation of football stars. Gamers also hear the song Cut Me In by Anderson .Paak featuring Rick Ross from the game’s soundtrack. The clip ends with the Madden early release date shown.

The Spokesplayer is actually actor Keraun Harris aka King Keraun. He’s appeared on shows including ABC’s Black-ish and HBO’s Insecure. In addition to acting, he’s also a comedian and an internet personality, per EA.

He’ll be popping up throughout the season. The Spokersplayer will present the best plays from the Madden community on both sides of the ball. In addition, he’s going to give the best players their spotlight. So stay tuned, as this Madden 21 trailer wasn’t the only time you’ll see him this season.

The new Madden 21 trailer also highlights that the new game is available on Aug. 25 for anyone who pre-ordered MVP or Deluxe Edition. The Standard Edition arrives on Aug. 28, with the game available for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Steam.

The next-generation versions of the game come out later this year when the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X arrive. Gamers who purchased the game for their current-gen console (PS4 or Xbox One) can get a free upgrade to the game for their next-gen console. Keep in mind if you buy the physical disc of the game on the current-gen console, you’ll need to have a next-gen console capable of playing discs. Otherwise, it’s best to purchase the digital version of Madden 21.
