With the arrival of the new FIFA 19 game, EA Sports has announced a new way for fans to get involved and compete. The video game company revealed the first-ever FIFA 19 ePremier League tournament to take place using the new game. The news arrives not long after the announcement of a FIFA and DFL agreement involving Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2.

New FIFA 19 ePremier League announced

The new ePremier League will feature each and every Premier League club as part of the tournament. That’s right, favorites like Manchester United, Liverpool, and the Barcelona football club will all have representatives. As of right now, the EPL features 20 teams total. Each of the clubs will also host their own playoff round, per Goal.com.

During this competition, each club will choose two FIFA 19 gamers who will represent them in the bigger tournament. For each of the EPL clubs, there will be one player who qualified to represent them for the PlayStation 4, and another who qualified to represent them for Xbox One.

FIFA 19 ePremier League schedule

The FIFA 19 ePremier League tourney is set to start in January 2019. It will feature a total of three stages. The tournament registration starts on December 3. After that, the online qualification process begins. That process takes place in January, while the playoffs for each of the EPL clubs will go forth in February and March.

The ePL tournament finals take place on March 28 and 29 in London, England. Sky Sports will show the finals live which gives an indication of just how big this event will be.

Gamers can practice quite a bit as the registration is still about two months away. It’s unknown as of this report if there will be any official prizes, but fame appears to be one part of the winnings. When all is said and done, one player will be crowned the official ePremier League Champion!

The FIFA 19 game is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PCs.
