More EA Sports UFC 4 ratings are coming in for the best fighters in the new video game. Last week we saw the first of the fighter ratings come in which brought plenty of debates. Now EA has revealed the UFC 4 ratings all the way up to the top 20. Here’s a look at who is rated where when it comes to spots 20 to 40 in the upcoming game.
EA Sports UFC 4 ratings: Fighters ranked 21 through 30
Monday’s EA Sports UFC 4 ratings reveal brought a look at fighters just outside of the top 20. That includes names such as Jose Aldo, Cris Cyborg, Joanna Jedrezjcyk, and Tyron Woodley who we recently saw in the Career Mode trailer. It also brought surprises, though, such as the inclusion of Glover Teixeira at No. 30 overall or the fact that Francis Ngannou is as low as No. 22.
Ngannou is currently ranked at No. 2 overall amongst Heavyweight fighters, according to UFC.com. He is on a four-fight winning streak which includes wins over Junior dos Santos and Cain Velazquez. Overall, Ngannou is 15-3 in his career and three of his last four fights earned Performance of the Night.
Cyborg being shown as part of the game and as a Bantamweight nonetheless, is irritating plenty of fans. The former UFC World Featherweight Champion is currently fighting with Bellator.
The 21 through 30 list also leaves some interesting options for the top 20 in the EA Sports UFC 4 ratings. That top 20 list should include the game’s cover stars Israel Adesanya and Jorge Masvidal as well as top stars like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Stipe Miocic, Daniel Cormier, and Max Holloway.
Some fans are also predicting that legends and guest fighters will be part of that top 20 such as Georges St-Pierre and Bruce Lee. That remains to be seen but a lot of members of the community are already upset at the way these particular rankings look so far.
Daniel Cormier to have special ratings role
Good news may be on the way, though. As with other EA Sports titles such as the Madden series, there will be adjustments for fighter ratings. With Madden, they typically use a team of ratings adjustors to help make sure the numbers are adjusted properly based on real-world performance.
For the EA Sports UFC 4 ratings, it will be none other than former two-division world champion Daniel Cormier, serving as a special ratings adjustor.
Cormier shared a video in which he reminded fans he’s the voice of the new video game. He also revealed the “big secret” that he gets to play the role of ratings adjustor to help bring the next level of authenticity to the game. The video below also features Cormier letting fans know exactly what his job will consist of.
The EA Sports UFC 4 video game officially arrives on August 14, 2020, for the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One. Fans who pre-order the game now will get to use two special playable fighters, boxers Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, in the game.
