The Elder Scrolls: Blades is Now Available in Early Access
The opportunity to sign up for Early Access has been available for months. In fact, the option became available shortly after the game’s announcement at E3 2018. Now that The Elder Scrolls: Blades Early Access is live, Bethesda has begun to invite players on a rolling basis. Everybody who signed up to Early Access will get in eventually, but you’ll need to wait for an invitation email from Bethesda. According to the studio; “We are doing our best to get everyone who signed up for Early Access into the game as quickly as possible.”
At present, the game is available on both iOS and Android devices. A full device list can be found on the game’s official FAQ. Bethesda originally announced that the game would also be available on PC, but Early Access is only available on mobile. PC gamers will likely have to wait for the full release.
It’s still unknown when that full release will actually happen. Bethesda has yet to announce a firm release date for the game. However, now that it’s available in Early Access, it’s likely that the release date will come relatively soon. While it’s also unknown exactly how long the Early Access period will last, Bethesda’s Fallout 76 early-access period was very short. Of course, the two are very different games. However, it does make it seem likely that Bethesda won’t run an extremely long Early Access period.
