Yesterday, ZeniMax Online Studios formally announced The Elder Scrolls: Online Elsweyr; the major Chapter expansion for the popular Elder Scrolls MMORPG. Like the Summerset expansion, Elsweyr will take players to a huge new region. Not only that, but the expansion and the longer-term Season of the Dragon are bringing dragons to the game for the first time. Now, Bethesda has unveiled a stunning new limited edition lithograph to mark the upcoming expansion and the year-long season event.
The New Elder Scrolls: Online Elsweyr Limited Edition Lithograph
The new Elder Scrolls: Online Elsweyr lithograph is available online from the Bethesda Store. The product is similar to a lithograph which was released back in late 2018 to mark the launch of Fallout 76. “To celebrate the Season of the Dragon,” says the product description; “we are releasing this limited edition lithograph for The Elder Scrolls Online. A Khajiit has wares if you have the coin!”
The Elsweyr lithograph is currently available to pre-order for $50, with a limit of just one per customer. According to the product listing, it will ship in February; months ahead of the release of the Elsweyr expansion, which is due to release in early June. Only 300 of these lithographs are available in total, according to the product description, suggesting that they could sell out very quickly. Spanning 24 inches by 36 inches, the lithograph appears to depict the landscape of Elsweyr and one of the region’s cities. A character stands overlooking the vista, and facing the imposing winged form of Kaalgrontiid, the expansion’s new dragon villain. At least one other dragon is visible in the background.
The Season of the Dragon is set to be a year-long event, with four major releases throughout. A dungeon DLC expansion called Wrathstone is coming soon, and that will be followed by the Elsweyr chapter DLC in June. Two more dungeon DLC expansions will be coming after that, though their titles haven’t yet been announced. According to ZeniMax, these releases will be standalone, but will all be part of a larger season storyline.
