Elder Scrolls Online Plus, commonly shortened to ESO Plus, is a subscription service available to players of The Elder Scrolls Online. The service already provides a whole host of benefits and regular rewards. However, those benefits are now set to increase from November onwards; Bethesda has published an update on the game’s website detailing changes coming to the service.
New Benefits Coming to Elder Scrolls Online Plus
The ESO Plus service already provides players with access to all of The Elder Scrolls Online’s DLC; both current and future. It also provides regular boons of Crowns, access to the Craft Bag feature, and more. Bethesda will be adding even more benefits to the ESO Plus subscription, however. These changes will take effect from the 13th of November. The first feature is an increase to the monthly Crown stipend; “As an ESO Plus member,” says Bethesda; “you will receive an additional 150 Crowns as part of your monthly stipend, bringing you to a total of 1650 per month.”
The second upcoming feature is the ability to claim exclusive items for free from the Crown Store. These will include both exclusive Store items and ESO Plus -exclusive collectibles; “The free items will only be available to ESO Plus members,” explains Bethesda; “and will be indicated in gold text labelled ‘Free’ next to the Chalice icon. Free items will be added to the Crown Store only on rare occasions and for a very limited time”. The first of these free items is an outfit called the Priestess of Mara costume. This outfit will be added to the Crown Store later this year. Bethesda did not specify a date. However, it seems likely that it could coincide with the launch of the new ESO Plus features in November.
In addition to free items, ESO Plus subscribers will be able to take advantage of exclusive Crown Store discounts as well. Again, these will be denoted with gold text and a chalice icon in the store. According to Bethesda, these discount offers will change frequently.
