Epic Games is really to give away even more cash prizes to skilled Fortnite Battle Royale players. The game developer announced a huge competitive season a few months ago, and this will be the second tournament in the series. This time, Fortnite players will be able to win $10 million.
The first big tournament was Summer Skirmish. This tournament ended last week and it had a really exciting conclusion. Summer Skirmish had a total prize pool of $8 million, which means that the next tournament will be even bigger!
Fall Skirmish
The Fortnite developer hasn’t released many details about the upcoming competition, and so far we only know its prize pool and its name. Fall Skirmish, the next Fortnite tournament, will most likely start later this month.
The weather may be cooling down, but the battle is heating up 🍂🔥. Fall Skirmish starts soon, with $10,000,000 awarded across 6 weeks. Stay tuned for major details dropping later this week!

Considering that Summer Skirmish event had an $8 million prize pool in 8 weeks, we can expect the fall competition to last 10 weeks. Additionally, it may start at the same time as season 6.
The original season 6 release date was September 25, but the game developer may postpone it until October. Considering that the Fortnite developer has recently postponed a few major updates, the October release sounds plausible.
Summer Skirmish was a fantastic tournament which included many Fortnite players on different platforms. The tournament also had a different format each week, making each competition interesting, exciting, and unique. Because of this, players are having high expectations for the next event.
We can expect Epic Games to do the same for Fall Skirmish and make it even better. Summer Skirmish was amazing, but it did have its flaws, and we are hoping that the Fortnite developer will fix them before the next competition. However, many players have enjoyed it, and fans loved watching the first big tournament as Fortnite’s Twitch was constantly drawing over 100,000 viewers.
Epic Games will release more details about the upcoming tournament later this week, so stay tuned!
