Fortnite Battle Royale map has gone through drastic changes since its inception in September 2017. The video game is celebrating its fourth birthday and its developer has some big plans for its future. It appears that those plans include Tilted Towers and its big return to the game!
The Fortnite developer has recently shared the image which shows characters jumping out of the Battle Bus. However, Tilted Towers can be seen in the background, which is why many players hope this point of interest will return to the game. After all, it is the most popular Fortnite landing spot of all time.
Tilted Towers could come back to Fortnite very soon
Epic Games has announced a Late Game Arena mode returning to Fortnite on October 5. This mode was very popular during the Bugha Cup and many players have enjoyed it. In the blog post regarding this mode, the Fortnite Battle Royale developer has shared the image which shows Tilted Towers.
As you can see above, the image shows a couple of characters landing from the Battle Bus. However, the bottom right corner also shows Tilted Towers, which could mean that Epic Games is planning on bringing it back to Fortnite. Considering that this place used to be the most popular spot on the map, adding it back would be amazing!
At the moment, it is not clear when Epic Games could bring this landmark back. However, the map is constantly changing in Season 8 as the corruption is spreading over it. Considering this, we could see the return of Tilted Towers very soon!
The history of Tilted Towers
Tilted Towers was first added to Fortnite Battle Royale with the 2.2.0 patch. This was the massive patch that changed the old plain Fortnite map into a much-improved version of it. This place hadn’t received many changes throughout the first few seasons until it was completely remade in Season 9. In this season, Tilted Towers became Neo Tilted, a futuristic-looking city.
In Season X, the place was turned into Tilted Town. This was a so-called Rift Zone and it was unique as players were not allowed to build inside of it. Later on, Tilted Town became Gotham City before it was completely destroyed during The End event which concluded Chapter 1.
