However, the game developer is reportedly considering expanding into wider media by making a Fortnite movie.
A Fortnite movie would not be just a single project by Epic Games. According to the report by The Information, the company is looking to launch an entertainment division focused on motion picture. While Epic has become a big name in the gaming world, it will be interesting to see how successful they will be in the movie industry.

Fortnite has very interesting lore, but it hasn’t been explained in the best way. While Fortnite: Save the World gives players explanations about certain things, there are still many details that haven’t been clarified. Furthermore, many players have never even played the PvE mode as it’s not free.
A Fortnite movie would be a perfect chance for Epic Games to explain the lore and give as many details as possible. While publishing a book or comics would be a better option, there is no doubt that a movie would be a more popular option.
Players are still wondering what happened to The Seven and whether or not the Chapter 1 map was completely destroyed. There are some theories that Fortnite is simply a simulation and that is why players do not die, but they get “eliminated” instead. A movie about the game and its origin could clarify many things, so there is no doubt that releasing it would be a good idea.
