Fortnite Battle Royale has received the patch 5.41 earlier this week. The patch has added a few new items, a new limited-time game mode, and some gameplay changes. However, data miners have discovered some interesting things added to the game data with this update.
While the most interesting leak was related to the mysterious cube and its movement, another leak suggestions that the Fortnite developer is working on the Dark Bomber skin. This will most likely be one of the first skins available in season 6, but nothing has been confirmed by Epic Games so far.
Dark Bomber skin
At the moment, it is hard to say what the upcoming skin will exactly look like. However, we have seen a sneak peek in the week 10 loading screen. Brite Bomber is touching the cube in the loading screen, and we can see her dark reflection in it.
Epic Games has added a new folder and some files that are related to the dark version of the skin. Considering that the Fortnite developer has experimented with customizable skins, we can expect the Dark Bomber to be available to everyone who owns the Brite Bomber skin. The dark variant will most likely be unlocked after completing a series of challenges.
As you can see in the image above, the developer has already added texture files and design for the upcoming skin. However, keep in mind that the skin will most likely not have a yellow/orange color scheme.
Considering that the cube has reached Loot Lake and turned it into a bouncy area, the leak that suggested a dark portal in the middle of the lake may turn out to be true. If this happens, there will be multiple skins that will receive their dark variants. The Dark Bomber is just one of these skins, but we can expect to see more of them soon.
