Epic Games has made some massive changes with the release of Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 3 – Season 2. The biggest change was the no-building mode which is currently activated in public matches. However, it turns out that the game developer is preparing a Fortnite item that will once again change the game.
This doesn’t come as a surprise since Epic is always looking for ways to change and improve the game. If recent leaks turn out to be true, the Fortnite creator will release many new things during the current season. The Fortnite item that will change the game is a deployable reboot item!

According to HYPEX, the most popular Fortnite leaker, Epic is working on a deployable reboot item. This Fortnite item, codenamed “Second Chance,” will let players reboot their teammates no matter where they are. In short, reboot vans will not be necessary to bring teammates back to life.
While this doesn’t seem huge, it will definitely impact the game in its late stages. After all, players can rarely find a reboot van in the last few circles. The upcoming item will change this and let players bring their teammates back from any spot on the map. Of course, this item will have no effect on Solo game modes.
Reboot vans have been in the game since Chapter 1 – Season 8. Epic Games has made several changes to them throughout the years, and the last change came with the first season of Chapter 3. The change lets players reboot their teammates faster if multiple players are interacting with the reboot van. According to HYPEX, Epic will also let players deposit gold in reboot vans. However, we still don’t know what its purpose is going to be.
Easy way to deal with tanks in Fortnite
Many Fortnite players are struggling against tanks in Season 2. However, there is a simple trick which can disable tanks and expose players who are using them.
As you can see in the video above, shooting at the yellow plates on the back of a tank is a fantastic way to deal with these vehicles. By dealing around 400 damage to these plates, players can disable tanks for a short period. At the same time, tanks will be unusable and players will be kicked out of it and exposed.
