Even More Pokemon Games Could Be Coming to Switch, According to Amazon UK Leaks

Once again, Amazon has not let us down with the Nintendo and Pokemon leaks. Today, we have a leak from Amazon UK that hints that we might see not one but two new Switch titles in the pocket monster series coming soon. These are two games in addition to the Let’s Go games already on the way and the generation eight titles coming next year.

Twitter user CrocOclock recently tweeted out that they noticed three unannounced Nintendo titles that have placeholders on the official Amazon UK website. Entitled Switch Title 23, Switch Title 14, and Switch 30, these three games are potential placeholders for games that have yet to be announced. Interestingly enough, Switch Title 14 – the only one to not be Pokemon-related – says “just announced at the Nintendo Switch event.”

First and foremost, it is possible that these leaked games are leftovers from recent Nintendo Directs. However, one interesting tidbit found hints that these are, in fact, new games we don’t know about. The two Pokemon-related games say they are Nintendo Switch titles but also include the Nintendo 3DS in its title.

This certainly hints at new games we don’t know about and could mean new Pokemon games outside of the ones we know about are coming. It also seems to imply that these titles are either also coming to 3DS or are ports of 3DS games. We believe the latter is most likely. This leaves a couple of options for what these ports might be.

We certainly don’t expect more mainline games like the recent Ultra Sun & Moon titles to make an appearance on Switch so it’s possible that these are spin-offs like the Mystery Dungeon series that received two games on 3DS. Another likely scenario is that these new Pokemon games could be ports of older titles like Gold & Silver that released on 3DS. With the online service set to kick off soon, the timing seems right so keep an eye here for an official announcement.
